About the Role:

We are looking for a hands-on Team Lead to join our Nottingham operations. This role isn’t just about managing a team from a distance; we’re looking for someone who can lead by example, get involved in the daily tasks, and support the team on the ground. You’ll be at the heart of day-to-day operations, working closely with the crew to deliver excellent service and ensure everything runs smoothly.

Responsibilities of Team Leader:

  • Lead and Work Alongside the Team: Actively participate in daily tasks while motivating and supporting the team to meet operational targets.
  • Operational Setup and Execution: Help organise and execute warehouse and logistics activities in line with company standards.
  • Fleet Maintenance and Repairs: Carry out basic maintenance and repair work on company vehicles and equipment (training provided if needed).
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment by following and enforcing health and safety standards.
  • Stock and Asset Management: Manage inventory levels, track assets, and ensure everything is accounted for and in good condition.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the team’s daily performance, assist with problem-solving, and report updates to management.

Requirements of Team Leader:

  • Previous experience in a hands-on Team Leader or Supervisory role (ideally in logistics, warehouse, micromobility, or fleet operations).
  • A proactive attitude - not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get involved.
  • Good mechanical understanding or willingness to learn basic maintenance tasks.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changes, and maintain high standards.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.
