Details:

  • Salary: £13.66 per hour
  • Location: DHL Tradeteam Stretton, Eastern Avenue, Burton on Trent - DE13 0BB
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-4pm

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in inventory, replenishment, purchasing, or supply chain planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and manage KPIs.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in ERP/replenishment systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Inventory & Stock Management: Maintain optimal stock levels by accurately replenishing inventory, managing stock turns, preventing stock shortages and excess stock, and reducing waste through effective inventory control.
  • Supplier & Purchase Order Management: Place and manage purchase orders, monitor supplier delivery performance, ensure adherence to inbound standards, and proactively resolve supplier-related issues to improve service levels.
  • Service Level & Customer Availability: Ensure high product availability by maintaining target stock cover, achieving First Time Order Fill (OTIF) targets, managing supply fluctuations, and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement: Identify stock risks, perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, communicate issues through to resolution, and recommend process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Forecasting, Reporting & Performance Monitoring: Monitor demand versus forecast, recommend forecast adjustments, track key performance indicators (KPIs), maintain accurate reporting, and support operational activities such as reverse logistics when required.
