Job&Talent is recruiting for an experienced Operations Team Leader in Millbrook. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous team leadership experience who can support the smooth running of warehouse operations and help drive performance across the shift.
As an Operations Team Leader, you will need to have:
- Basic knowledge of Excel and Outlook
- Flexibility to work on site, full time
Role of an Operations Team Leader:
- Support the planning of staffing levels to maximise productivity without affecting service levels
- Carry out manual handling duties, including wrapping pallets, moving boxes and lifting where required
- Support and motivate the team by monitoring performance and maintaining standards
- Deal with poor performance or negative behaviour promptly and professionally
- Take full responsibility for the department during your shift
- Complete site inductions for new starters and agency workers, and provide training where required
- Help drive continuous improvement across warehouse operations
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, health and safety, and compliance at all times
Temporary to permanent role, with the opportunity to become permanent after 12 weeks if successful.
