Requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional bakery experience
• Minimum 3 years hands-on donut-making experience (artisan or large-batch)
• Expert knowledge across the full donut-making process: mixing, proofing, frying, glazing, finishing
• Strong understanding of dough behaviour, frying methods, and bakery science
• Proven ability to deliver consistent results in a commercial production environment
• High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
• Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working early mornings independently
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25kg
  

Responsibilities:

As a Skilled Donut Baker, you will:

• Lead daily donut production, including yeast-raised, cake, filled, and specialty varieties
• Mix, proof, fry, glaze, finish, and decorate products to precise standards
• Contribute to recipe development and refinement to maintain premium quality
• Support preparation of additional bakery items when required
• Manage production schedules to ensure efficiency and product freshness
• Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards
• Train and support junior team members
