We are recruiting for Mobile E-Bike Mechanic & Events Support to work with a leading company in the micro-mobility sector in Stockholm Road, London SE16 3LP, UK.
Shift patterns: Either Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday between 10:00am and 6pm. Event support shift might be longer (up to 12 hours) so flexibility is expected.
Pay rates: £13.00 hourly
Essential requirements:
- Previous mechanical experience preferred (bike, e-bike, scooter, or similar)
- Ability to perform basic repairs independently
- Must be able and willing to cycle during shifts (primary mode of travel)
- Comfortable working outdoors across London
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Customer service experience, especially at events
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Physically able to reposition bikes and perform manual tasks
- Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic
Role responsibilities:
- Perform on-site maintenance and basic repairs on a fleet of electric bikes
- Cycle between various locations to ensure vehicles are in safe working condition
- Provide high-quality customer service and technical support during brand events
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly to minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts used during shifts
- Assist with the logistics and setup of equipment for promotional activities
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed while working in public spaces
