MHE DRIVERS REQUIRED - FULL-TIME ONLY! We are recruiting for various MHE Operative Roles - Reach Truck in DHL PERKINS Engines. Our client is seeking MHE drivers for their busy, rapidly expanding site. DHL handles the warehousing and transportation of Perkins products, ensuring global delivery of engines and parts. Perkins focuses on producing 4000 series engines in Stafford and various diesel/gas engines for agricultural and industrial applications worldwide.

As a MHE Driver you will need to have:

  • Strong familiarity with Manual Handling Equipment (MHE) and safe, fast-paced operation
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to a level required for safety and reporting
  • Strict adherence to safety regulations and operating procedures
  • High attention to detail for picking and stacking, with the ability to maintain speed in a fast-paced environment
  • A Reach Truck is REQUIRED

Details:

  • Salary: Days - £13.89, Afternoons - £15.14
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday 07:00-15:00, Potentially 15:00-23:00
  • Location: Own transport required, DHL Supply Chain, Perkins Engines, Unit 2 SEGRO Logistic Park, Hall Farm Road, Kegworth/Derby, DE74 2BF
  • Duration: Ongoing

Role of a MHE Driver:

  • Operating a MHE truck to pick, load and unload goods
  • Picking/Loading/unloading stock on the warehouse racking
  • Moving stock around the warehouse to make space for new products arriving
  • Operating MHE trucks
  • Manually loading/off-loading smaller stock items
  • Working as a team to meet targets in all areas of the warehouse
  • Handling and storing materials safely and efficiently
  • Picking and packing orders according to company standards
  • Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
  • Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report any areas of concern immediately
  • Assist with inventory counting and stock investigations when necessary
  • Support Colleagues and Team Leader with all day to day tasks
