Shift patterns
- Gist Chesterfield operates 7 days per week on a 24-hour basis, offering flexible shift patterns and start times.
- £17.33 to £23.38 GBP hourly Essential requirements for Class 1 Driver:
- Full UK Driving Licence (C+E)
- Digital Tachograph Card + CPC (Driver Qualification)
- 12+ Months Minimum Class 1 Driver Driving
Experience
- No More than 6 points on Licence (Including DR, DD, IN, TT) Desirable requirements for Class 1 Driver:
- Previous Class 1 Driver driving experience (6+ months preferred)
- Experience with RDC, trunking, and store deliveries
- Familiarity with curtainsiders, refrigerated units, and box trailers
- Good knowledge of UK road network and major distribution centres
- Experience completing PODs, delivery paperwork, or handheld scanners
- Strong customer service skills and experience with manual handling
- Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
