Mobile Bike Mechanic

London Full-Time No home office possible

We are recruiting for a Mobile Bike Mechanic to work with an important company in London - a leading smart-mobility provider that offers cities an array of mobility products including e-assist bicycles and electric scooters.

Shift Patterns:

Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday, 8am-4pm

Pay Rates:

£14.15/h

As a Mobile Bike Mechanic you will need to have:

Ability to lift up to 65lbs / 30kg on a frequent basis
Ability to operate a mobile device including having knowledge of in app-based workflows. iOS experience preferred
Good communication skills with the ability to read and follow instructions
Good level of fitness, ability to ride a bicycle, willingness to work outside
Willingness to learn, a great attitude and ability to work well with others - teamwork is key to success!
Previous experience of working with tools or as a mechanic is advantageous

Role of a Mobile Bike Mechanic:

Diagnosing, repairing, and performing quality control (QC) on vehicles
Deploying vehicles to proper locations
Marking broken vehicles for retrieval
Retrieving any loose batteries found on the street
Facing the public
Reporting decayed vehicles
