We are recruiting for a Shunter Driver to work with a leading logistics company in Worksop.

Shift patterns: 16.43 GBP hourly

Must-have requirements for Shunter Driver:

  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn daily tasks
  • Follow supervisor instructions respectfully
  • Work as a team by helping coworkers whenever needed

Desirable requirements for Shunter Driver:

  • Previous shunting experience preferred - Class 1 licence not required

Role for Shunter Driver:

  • Ensure empty trailers are on the relevant outbound docks and secured for loading
  • Move trailers around the site in a safe and secure manner following all site health and safety procedures
  • Complete scheduled movements of trailers and ensure customer material is not damaged
  • Accurately record working and driving hours and complete all necessary documentation
  • Operate IT systems and achieve productivity, service, and compliance targets
