Production Operative Grade 1 - GosportAt Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Production Operative Grade 1 to work with a leading paper product manufacturing company in Gosport. This role focuses on maintaining the efficiency of manufacturing equipment and supporting the production team.
Shift Patterns:* Set shift patterns of 3x Day shift, 2x off, 2x night shift, 3x off.* Pattern may vary based on operational demand.
Pay Rates:* 12.71 GBP hourlyEssential Requirements for Production Operative Grade 1:* Able to work shift work days and nights.
Skills and Qualifications for Production Operative Grade 1:* Previous Manufacturing or Production experience.* BTEC National Certificate Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.* Relevant NVQ.* Worked with special purpose machinery.* PC Literate.* Experience of mechanical equipment fault finding and rectification.* Working independently.* Target driven.* Organised.* Proactive.* Flexible in terms of tasks undertaken.* Good communication skills.* Capable of building and maintaining good working relationships, being a team member.
Role Responsibilities for Production Operative Grade 1:* Ensure maximum effectiveness of all paper product manufacturing equipment.* Fault find and rectify minor technical issues within capability.* Notify engineering when issues are outside of remit.* Make recommendations to improve efficiency.* Work collaboratively in a team to maximise production output.
