In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various locations. You will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining high vehicle standards, demonstrating a commitment to safety and professional excellence.

Pay rates:
- £18.20 - £19.69
- Minimum 8 Hours Guaranteed
- Pay increase after 12 weeks
Essential requirements for HGV Class 1 Driver:
- Full UK Driving Licence (C+E)
- Digital Tachograph Card + CPC (Driver Qualification)
- 6 Months Minimum Class 1 Driving Experience
- No More than 6 points on Licence (Including DR, DD, IN, TT)
Desirable requirements for HGV Class 1 Driver:
- Previous Class 1 driving experience (6+ months preferred)
- Experience with RDC, trunking, and store deliveries
- Familiarity with curtainsiders, refrigerated units, and box trailers
- Good knowledge of the UK road network and major distribution centres
- Experience completing PODs, delivery paperwork, or handheld scanners
- Strong customer service skills when dealing with site staff or clients
- Experience with manual handling and safe loading/unloading
- Flexible and proactive attitude towards overtime and varied shifts
- Strong focus on road safety and vehicle checks
- Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well as a team player
