This role focuses on ensuring the maximum effectiveness of paper product manufacturing equipment, requiring a proactive approach to fault finding and technical rectification to maintain high production standards.
Shift patterns Set shift patterns of 3x Day shift, 2x off, 2x night shift, 2x off.
Pattern may vary based on operational demand.
Pay rates 12.71 GBP hourly Essential requirements for Production Operative Grade 1 Previous experience working within a manufacturing, production, or service environment with targets and objectives to meet.
GCSE level education or equivalent standard.
Mechanical aptitude.
Demonstrate fault finding capability coupled with a degree of rectification capability.
Desirable requirements for Production Operative Grade 1 BTEC National Certificate Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and relevant NVQ.
Experience working with special purpose machinery and high-speed manufacturing equipment.
PC literate and experience setting manufacturing or production equipment.
Target driven, organised, proactive, and flexible in terms of tasks undertaken.
Good communication skills and capable of building and maintaining good working relationships as a team member.
Role for Production Operative Grade 1 Ensure maximum effectiveness of all paper product manufacturing equipment.
Fault find and rectify minor technical issues within capability.
Notify engineering when issues are outside of remit.
Make recommendations to improve efficiency.
Work in a team to maximise production.
