Job&Talent are recruiting for experienced Administrative Assistants in Wood Business Park, Hook. We are looking for hard-working and experienced Administrators to join the team. Our client is looking for core team members to join the operation.
As an Administrator you will need to have:
- 2-4 years of experience in an administrative or office support role; prior exposure to a factory, manufacturing, or project/construction-site environment will be a strong advantage.
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a team in a physically demanding environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A 'can do', right first time and passionate approach.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preference for Business Administration, Commerce, or related fields).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; regional language proficiency is a plus.
Salary: Starting at £13.50 basic rate per hour.
We are currently looking for positions available for a minimum of 5 days a week (Monday-Friday).
Hours of work: Monday-Saturday 0900-17:00.
Role of an Administrative Assistant:
- Manage front-desk operations, visitor reception, calls, and courier/mail handling.
- Maintain physical and digital filing systems for contracts, vendor agreements, invoices, and compliance records.
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for the leadership team.
- Oversee day-to-day coordination with contractors, sub-contractors, and service providers engaged in the facility fit-out.
- Assist in processing vendor invoices, petty cash, and expense reports.
- Support HR activities including onboarding documentation, attendance, and leave records.
- Maintain stores and inventory for spares, consumables, tools, and fit-out materials required for installation and commissioning.
Please note: this role requires commitment and is not suitable for candidates looking for just one or two days per week. This is a long-term role moving to a permanent position.
