Production Operative Grade 1 - Gosport
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Production Operative Grade 1 to work with a leading paper product manufacturing company in Gosport. This role focuses on maintaining the efficiency of manufacturing equipment and supporting the production team.
Shift Patterns:
- Set shift patterns of 3x Day shift, 2x off, 2x night shift, 3x off.
- Pattern may vary based on operational demand.
Pay Rates:
- 12.71 GBP hourly Essential Requirements for Production Operative Grade 1:
- Able to work shift work days and nights. Skills and Qualifications for Production Operative Grade 1:
- Previous Manufacturing or Production experience.
- BTEC National Certificate Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Relevant NVQ.
- Worked with special purpose machinery.
- PC Literate.
- Experience of mechanical equipment fault finding and rectification.
- Working independently.
- Target driven.
- Organised.
- Proactive.
- Flexible in terms of tasks undertaken.
- Good communication skills.
- Capable of building and maintaining good working relationships, being a team member.
Role Responsibilities for Production Operative Grade 1:
- Ensure maximum effectiveness of all paper product manufacturing equipment.
- Fault find and rectify minor technical issues within capability.
- Notify engineering when issues are outside of remit.
- Make recommendations to improve efficiency.
- Work collaboratively in a team to maximise production output.
