At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for E-Scooter Mechanic to work with an important company in Newcastle – one of the leaders in micromobility and provider of share e-scooters

Shift Patterns:

  • 5 days out of 7 – 8h a day, various shift patterns

Pay Rates

  • £12.21-£13.92/h

As a E-Scooter Mechanic you will need to have:

  • An electrical engineering or mechanic background, idealy with electric vehicles
  • Tool handling experience
  • Ability to lift up to 65lbs / 30kg on a frequent basis required
  • Ability to operate a mobile device including having knowledge of in app-based workflows.
  • Good communicator with the ability to read and follow instructions
  • At least provisional, ideally full driving licence
  • Flexibility and availability to work various shift patterns including weekends
  • Willingness to learn, a great attitude and ability to work well with others – teamwork is key to success!
  • Role of a E-Scooter Mechanic:

  • Ensure operational compliance and safety of all electric vehicles
  • Perform a variety repairs from basic maintenance to complex electronic part replacement
  • Maintain and abide by safety and hygiene standards within the workshop
  • Maximize the number of operational vehicles by efficiently completing tasks assigned
  • Identify issues and find creative solutions to overcome obstacles
  • Additional job related tasks as assigned
  • Receive additional training to become a great mechanic!
