We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Administrator for one of our clients based in Chesterfield S43 3FG. As a Warehouse Administrator, you will be responsible for producing reports to daily and weekly deadlines, ensuring accuracy of all data input and highlighting relevant issues to on duty Shift Managers.

Skills:

  • Great attention to detail and is accurate at speed
  • Reading Warehouse Plans
  • Previous experience working within Admin roles
  • Team Player, can work under pressure and can prioritise key tasks
  • Skilled in IT, Google docs etc & proficient in Office packages including Excel & Word
  • Ability to work within a chilled/cold environment

Shift pattern:

  • 4 on 4 off - 19:00 - 07:00 (Includes a 30-minute unpaid break)

Pay rate:

  • £14.01 per hour on night shift (20:00 pm - 06:00 am)
  • £12.86 per hour on days (06:00 am - 20:00 pm)

Duration: Ongoing

Requirements:

  • Admin experience
  • Previous experience working within the warehouse and logistics sector
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Team player attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • A flexible approach to your hours and duties
  • Confident telephone manners
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask

Responsibilities:

  • Reading Warehouse Plans
  • Setting up inbound and outbound jobs
  • To liaise with the Warehouses and keep the flow of the bays moving
  • To liaise with customer service team regarding surplus stock and general queries
  • Effectively dispatch and debrief driver upon arrival at the depot
  • Ensure that all outbound vehicles travel with the correct paperwork
  • Ensure that any inbound/outbound paperwork is compliant
  • Ensure the paperwork is archived correctly
  • Ensure that outbound paperwork is uploaded to relevant customer systems
  • Filing, stamping and preparing paperwork
  • Check all inbound paperwork is sufficient and deal with any issues surrounding this
  • Raising discrepancies for Volume Matrix
  • To produce and keep up-to-date internal trackers and be flexible around daily requests for this
  • Effective time management to ensure the job is completed within the set time frame
  • Any other duties advised by your manager
  • Stock control background
