Be the Engine Behind the Flight! We are seeking reliable and energetic individuals to join our Glasgow operational team. This is a vital role at the heart of the travel industry, ensuring every aircraft departs with the precision-packed meals and supplies required for a world-class passenger experience.

The Role

Reporting into the Sous Chef, Operations. Producing food items according to approved specification/recipes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing daily production shifts.
  • Training and monitoring shift employees to ensure compliance with proper work procedures and production of food components.
  • Responsible for the preparation/cooking of food items according to approved specifications and recipes.
  • Monitors yields of products to ensure maximum usage.
  • Ensures quality production standards are followed and maintained.
  • The CdeP ensures adherence to HACCP and regional safety regulations in compliance with gategroup policies and procedures.
  • Preparing materials lists for designated recipes.

Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week. Rotational Various shifts available (including weekends). Standard shifts typically run Morning: 07:00 to 15:30 Afternoon: 13:30 to 22:00 (subject to department needs). Includes a 30-minute unpaid break daily.

Mandatory Security & Compliance

As this role requires an airside security pass under the National Aviation Security Programme (NASP), all applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Right to Work: Must possess valid documentation to work in the UK.
  • 5-Year Checkable History: You must provide a continuous 5-year record of employment, education, and addresses. Any gaps exceeding 28 days must be covered by a personal reference.
  • Criminal Record Check: Must be able to pass a standard Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • Training: Completion of mandatory Aviation Security (AVSEC) training (provided on-site).
