Automotive Operative We are recruiting for Automotive Operative roles in the Unipart Logistics at Dordon, Tamworth (B78 1BF). Our client is seeking an Automotive Parts Operative for their busy, rapidly expanding site. You will be working as part of a busy and committed team, servicing more than 900 retailers and trade partners across the UK and Ireland for Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, CUPRA, SKODA, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, and the Volkswagen Group\’s Trade Parts Services business. FULL-TIME ONLY! As an Automotive Operative you will need to have: Good communication skills and the ability to speak, read and write basic English Able to follow instructions Numerical and focused on accuracy Basic computer literacy and experience of data inputting desirable Ability to give attention to detail Be physically fit and reliable Details: Salary: Days – £12.78 Overtime during the week – £16.61 Working Hours : Rotation: 06:00 – 14:30 / 14:30-23:00 Fixed AM: 06:00 – 14:30 Location: Birch Coppice Business Park, Danny Morson Way, Dordon, Tamworth B78 1BF, United Kingdom Duration: Ongoing Role of an Automotive Operative: Pick, check, store and pack automotive goods either manually or using RDT technology to a high standard of accuracy Pump trucking stacks of full totes and sorting to the department Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded onto cages Load and unload trailers safely and in line with company procedures Report any errors, damages or quality issues found whilst undertaking duties You will be working with products like car doors, bonnets, hoods and oils Frequent heavy lifting required Work to standard operating procedures in line with company policy Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report any areas of concern immediately Assist with inventory counting and stock investigations when necessary Assist other team members as necessary Support Colleagues and Team Leader with all day to day tasks To action any other elements to fulfil the operational needs of the business and undertake any other reasonable duties as allocated Benefits of working with us as an Automotive Operative: 28 Holidays per year Weekly Pay Pension Scheme Mortgage references My Extra Rewards- An online portal offering vouchers and discounts If you are interested in the above role please click apply If you are looking to contact our onsite team, please visit the site locator on our website.
