  • Develop, champion and drive implementation of complex policies and electricity code changes affecting the Connections Team
  • Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including Transmission Owners and Ofgem
  • Understand challenges and drive changes to policies, codes and legislation
  • Lead and advise on a varied portfolio of policy and code initiatives
  • Ensure initiatives meet connections reform methodologies and the designed gated process
  • Identify and develop policy changes needed to facilitate Connections Reform and CP30
  • Engage with the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, Ofgem, Transmission Owners, Distribution Network Operators, generators and customers
  • Lead strategic policy changes and support their implementation
  • Collaborate with stakeholder groups, subject matter experts and industry participants on code and policy changes
  • Present and explain information and proposals clearly and concisely
  • Identify policy gaps and lead actions to resolve them
  • Develop robust and compelling approaches for internal and external stakeholders, including senior managers

Requirements
