- Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the warehouse in the assigned area
- Lead, motivate and develop the team to achieve targets
- Support site and customer continuous improvement initiatives
- Act as an advocate for cultural change on site
- Ensure operational processes comply with company policies
- Identify risks and escalate findings
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand customer and company requirements
- Incorporate requirements into planning and reporting tools, activities and projects
Requirements
- Proven track record as a team leader/first line manager within a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Ability to effectively lead, develop and manage a team
- Ability to identify areas for development and recognise success
- Adaptability in a rapidly changing and fast-paced environment
- Excellent people skills
- Good understanding of Health & Safety
- Ability to work an 'any 5 from 7' day shift pattern from 14:00-22:00
