Responsibilities Own the technical architecture and direction for Aeon's platform — the patient-facing health platform, the medical partner portal, and how AI modules integrate.
Code daily alongside the team: this is a hands‑on role, especially during the first year.
Define and role model the company software engineering culture and rituals.
Lead code reviews, technical decisions, and engineering standards.
Drive the team's evolution toward AI‑native development – not just using AI tools, but fundamentally rethinking how we design, build, and ship software.
Recruit, mentor and elevate newly joining team members over the coming years.
Partner closely with the CPTO and Growth team on roadmap and architecture trade‑offs.
Work on the transition to medical Sa MD processes together with our regulatory specialist, and take ownership of GDPR and similar compliance areas.
Requirements Strong full‑stack background with genuine technical depth.
Familiarity with common frontend and backend technologies, like React, Nuxt, Vue, Tailwind, Python, Postgre SQL, Type Script, AWS.
An AI‑native development mindset: you have already fundamentally changed how you code because of AI, and you are eager to push the whole team in that direction.
A hands‑on mindset.

Startup instinct: comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration, and wearing more than one hat.
Experience with recruiting and leading an engineering team.
