You will visit people in their homes to carry out vital research interviews on important topics like health, housing and transport.
Using a tablet or laptop, you will guide conversations that capture real experiences of daily life in Britain.
You will be out in your community, knocking on doors.
Some won’t answer; others will say no.
That’s completely normal and part of the role.
When someone says yes and shares their story, you will know you’ve helped create change that improves people’s lives.
Responsibilities
- Visit people in their homes to conduct research interviews on health, housing and transport topics.
- Use a tablet or laptop to guide conversations and capture real experiences of daily life in Britain.
- Be active in the community by knocking on doors to recruit participants.
- Handle refusals professionally and understand that not everyone will participate.
- Document insights and contribute to research outcomes that inform improvements in services and policy.
Qualifications
- Valid UK driving licence and sole use of a car
- Class 1 Business insurance
- Right to work in the UK
- Willingness to complete a DBS check
- Reliable home broadband
- Laptop or tablet with camera
- Comfortable using basic technology
- At least 18 hours available per week
- Flexibility for weekdays, evenings and weekends
- Strong verbal and written English
