Tax Graduate Programme – Employment and Global Mobility

  • Complete a three-year training contract while studying for ATT and CTA qualifications

  • Complete nine exams: six for ATT and three for CTA

  • Develop professional, technical, and commercial knowledge through structured training and on-the-job learning

  • Develop understanding of UK employment tax legislation and apply it to client work

  • Analyse client financial and payroll information and prepare calculations and reports

  • Prepare and submit employment tax compliance returns, including P11Ds, PSAs, STBV returns, ERS returns, and expatriate personal tax returns

  • Assist with employment tax reviews and audits, identifying risks and improvement opportunities

  • Liaise with clients, colleagues, other service lines, and HMRC

  • Attend and contribute to client meetings, calls, and internal discussions

  • Manage day-to-day requirements for a client portfolio and act as a first point of contact for routine queries

  • Prioritise workload across multiple projects and maintain accurate records, working papers, and documentation

  • Build strong client relationships and support senior colleagues with the annual tax compliance cycle


Requirements



  • Applicants from all degree backgrounds, including recent university graduates, career changers, and people returning to work

  • Clear motivation to pursue a career in employment tax and understanding of the ATT and CTA qualifications

  • Enthusiasm for building relationships and collaborating with clients and colleagues

  • Proactive, results-driven attitude and commitment to high-quality client service

  • Dedication to ethical standards and professional guidelines

  • Strong commitment and reliability to balance studies, exams, and a full-time role

  • Growth mindset and adaptability

  • Minimum of 112 UCAS Tariff points from three A Levels or equivalent qualifications, excluding EPQ

  • 2:1 or above from a degree in any discipline

  • Permission to work in the UK for at least three years from the programme start date

  • Willingness to attend the office three days per week and more regularly when required

  • Willingness to travel to and attend client sites when required


Core Competencies


Demonstrates a strong understanding of UK Employment Tax Legislation and the ability to prepare and submit various employment tax compliance returns. Capable of building client relationships while managing a portfolio and balancing studies with professional responsibilities.
