  • Provide end-to-end administrative support for casual worker and temporary appointments
  • Process casual worker requests and create assignments in university systems
  • Maintain accurate casual and assignment records and ensure payroll data quality
  • Complete right-to-work checks in line with UKVI regulations
  • Update and validate personal, payroll and assignment information
  • Monitor assignment and visa expiry dates and send timely reminders
  • Liaise with hiring managers regarding pre-employment requirements and readiness to commence work
  • Support timesheet and payment information administration with Payroll colleagues
  • Produce reports for workforce planning, compliance monitoring and operational activity
  • Support Talent Acquisition administration across the recruitment lifecycle
  • Respond to recruitment enquiries and support candidate experience
  • Manage the TopDesk queue for general queries
  • Assist with diversity and inclusion recruitment initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, systems and candidate experience
  • Collaborate across Human Resources to deliver consistent, customer-focused services

Requirements

  • Experience providing high-quality administrative support within a busy customer-focused environment
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads and manage competing deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records
  • Experience using HR, recruitment or other business systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Understanding of GDPR principles and confidential information handling
  • Ability to work proactively, collaboratively and flexibly in a fast-paced environment
  • Desirable: experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, human resources or higher education
  • Desirable: knowledge of UKVI processes and immigration-related recruitment requirements
  • Desirable: understanding of right-to-work requirements and recruitment compliance processes
