- Support the clinical team and deliver exceptional patient and client care
- Carry out appropriate nurse consultations under direct clinical supervision
- Assist veterinary surgeons with procedures
- Maintain high standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence
- Deliver exceptional care to clients, supporting surgeries and procedures while complying with regulatory, practice, and operational standards
- Carry out nurse-led appointments under direct clinical supervision
- Monitor and care for patients
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be eligible to enrol with the RCVS as a Student Veterinary Nurse
- Hold a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 (C) or above, including English Language, Mathematics, and a Science subject; or
- Hold a Level 2 Diploma in Veterinary Care Assistance alongside GCSEs at Grade 4-9, including English Language, Mathematics, and a Science subject; or
- Hold Grade 4 (C) or above (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics, plus an additional two GCSEs at Grade 4 (C) or above
- Participate in a 1 in 3 weekend rota at the 24-Hour Hospital in Enfield
- Work an average of 2-3 Bank Holiday shifts per year
- Participate in 2-3 on-call rotations annually
- Be enrolled as a Student Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS and registered on an approved vet nursing course
- Passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care
- Flexible and keen to develop further
