- Understand defence and security users' needs in situational awareness and force protection, then scope solutions
- Design, build, and deploy Palantir Foundry data pipelines, ontology models, and operator-facing applications
- Integrate live intelligence into existing workflows, common operating pictures, and command-and-control tooling
- Build and tune custom widgets
- Own solutions end to end, from whiteboard sketch to operational deployment
- Debug infrastructure, networking, and applications across restricted, disconnected, or on-premise environments
- Advise customer engineers and operators and relay feedback into the product
- Travel to customer sites and operations centres in Europe
Requirements
- Strong engineering background — computer science, software engineering, mathematics, physics or something equally technical
- Hands-on Palantir Foundry work with pipelines, ontology, Compute Modules, Code Repositories, Workbooks, and application development
- Fluency in at least one of Python, Java, SQL, TypeScript, JavaScript, Bash, or Go
- Three years or more of professional software or forward-deployed / solutions engineering experience shipping systems into production
- Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar platform architectures and data models
- Experience with containers (Docker or Podman), orchestration (Kubernetes or OpenShift), Linux, networking, and on-premise fundamentals
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Willingness to travel and work on site in secure customer facilities
- Candidates must have the right to work in the EU, or be UK-based
