The predicted salary is between 55000 - 65000 £ per year.
- Responsible for delivering a variety of civil design packages for both core renewals and enhancement schemes
- Work closely with other disciplines to ensure a fully integrated design is achieved
- Support the management of both individual design packages and entire projects
- Support project resourcing and financial control to ensure schemes are delivered profitably
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams on projects at varying stages from feasibility to detailed design
Requirements
- BEng / MEng or MSc degree in civil engineering or equivalent
- Incorporated/Chartered status and corporate membership of the ICE or Istruct E or the desire to work towards this
- Ability to oversee the production of and review high quality design documentation including sketches, drawings, calculations, reports and specifications
- Undertake technical reviews of designs
- Good understanding of relevant design standards (e. g., Eurocodes, Network Rail standards)
- Experience of multidisciplinary design
- Relevant industry experience in major construction and/or infrastructure projects
- Strong communicator (verbal and written)
- Excellent team and personal organizational skills
