- Join the newly created Proactive Screens Team and help shape inlet screen maintenance across Anglian Water
- Improve the reliability, safety, and performance of critical water recycling assets
- Work across treatment works and pumping stations
- Lead by example and provide technical expertise
- Support the development, monitoring, and coaching of technicians and field resources
- Plan and coordinate maintenance activities
- Proactively manage workloads and help control maintenance backlogs
- Work with suppliers, manufacturers, and specialist contractors
- Support spares strategies and improve parts availability
- Develop, encourage, and foster safe working practices in accordance with company safety rules
- Manage available resources to deliver maintenance work within agreed service levels
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to complete actions on service completion
- Drive continuous improvement through implementation of new ideas and equipment
Requirements
- Full driving licence
- Strong Mechanical/Electrical/Engineering background ideally, with necessary NVQ/C&G Level 3 qualifications in that field (essential)
- Experience and awareness of Health and Safety within an operational environment
- Ability to adapt written and verbal communication style for a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Customer service skills and ability to deal with customers empathetically and professionally
- Knowledge or understanding of inlet screens and basic understanding of water recycling processes beneficial
- Experience coaching and mentoring team members
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at height without restrictions
- Maximum weight of 113 kilograms due to harness weight limits
- Ability to complete relevant occupational health checks, including Hand-arm Vibration (HAV)
