- Translate business requirements into practical network design, reference architectures, design patterns, HLDs, design reviews, runbooks, POCs, FOAs
- Design, operate, and implement global multi-vendor, multi-cloud, hybrid data center networks at scale while driving network performance and resiliency
- Deploy and manage cloud constructs such as subnet allocations, routing-tables/associations, VPCs, VPC-peering/PrivateLink, Hub-spoke topologies, gateways, and direct connects
- Develop and maintain IaC (ansible, Terraform) and automation tooling throughout CI/CD pipeline (Python, Go) to provision networks at scale, while improving the efficiency and velocity of network deployments
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and contribute to incident root-cause analysis
- Participate in on-call rotations
- Implement network solutions meeting regional compliance and data sovereignty requirements (ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, UK G-Cloud, EU data residency / GDPR, PCI-DSS)
- Design, implement, and operate CrowdStrike's global cloud and data center network infrastructure
Requirements
- Proven track record in driving agile cross-functional projects to completion independently with minimal supervision
- 7+ years expert design & hands-on experience of IPv4/IPv6, Anycast, MP-BGP, OSPF/IS-IS, MPLS, EVPN/VxLAN, L3VPN, CLOS, QoS, Load-balancing, MACsec, and IPsec
- 5+ years practical multi-cloud networking experience deploying and supporting cloud connectivity at hyperscaler, CSP or security company
- Extensive experience in deploying and maintaining large networks using version control, automation frameworks (ansible, Terraform, Chef) and scripts & templating (bash, python, go, jinja, YAML, JSON)
- Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes
- CCIE/JNCIE, AWS/GCP/OCI/Azure (Professional) Certifications
- Hyperscaler/CSP background (AWS, GCP, MSFT, OCI or similar)
- OpenStack / SONiC / Whitebox, FRR, open source network infrastructure experience
- AI/GPU cluster networking fabrics (RDMA, RoCE, InfiniBand)
- UK Government, G-Cloud, or Sovereign cloud experience
