Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic direction for valuations modelling across the business
- Oversee development of account-level NPV models across multiple lending products
- Lead and develop a team of analysts and data scientists
- Partner with stakeholders across analytics, credit strategy, finance, product and risk
- Improve and simplify existing valuation frameworks where appropriate
- Drive the evolution of the bank’s valuations capability and roadmap
- Champion technical best practice across Python based modelling workflows
- Support strategic projects including new product launches and portfolio activity
Requirements
- Solid experience leading valuations within retail lending
- Managed and developed high-performing teams
- Comfortable working with Python based modelling environments
- Deep experience with valuation and NPV modelling
- Strong stakeholder manager who can influence senior audiences
- Combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with high impact
- Strong analytical and commercial judgement
- Experience across multiple lending products
- (Added bonus) Experience leveraging valuations within decisioning pipelines
- (Added bonus) Exposure to machine learning approaches within credit or valuations modelling
