- Own the mobilisation and delivery readiness strategy for a defined Plant Delivery Area
- Lead planning, coordination and execution of complex work packages across multiple stakeholders and delivery partners
- Lead end-to-end delivery readiness and mobilisation activities from design maturity through industrialisation into manufacture and site delivery
- Integrate design, manufacturing, supply chain, quality and operational readiness activities
- Manage programme schedules, dependencies, risks, constraints and opportunities
- Manage area schedules, risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies and opportunities
- Lead and inspire a team of mobilisation professionals
- Coordinate significant cross-functional activities
- Apply and improve delivery, mobilisation and governance frameworks
- Support product delivery from design maturity through manufacture and deployment
Requirements
- Exposure to regulated or safety-critical environments
- Nuclear know-how is of great interest; transferable capability from defence, aerospace and energy sectors considered
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and research industry best practice
- Experience developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), planning sequences, detailed schedules, cost estimates with breakdowns, risk management and general project management artefacts
- Experience coordinating product delivery from design maturity through manufacture and deployment
- Knowledge of design-for-manufacture, quality planning, supplier readiness and operational preparedness
- Experience applying and improving delivery, mobilisation and governance frameworks
- Experience managing schedules, dependencies, risks and readiness activities across complex programmes
- Experience in industrialisation, mobilisation, delivery readiness, new product introduction, operations or major programme delivery
- Experience ideally within a complex engineering environment
- Ability to obtain BPSS clearance
- Satisfactory DBS checkSatisfactory basic financial probity check
