Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, advising on workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, and change management.
- Develop people strategies that align with business goals across UK, U. S., and global teams.
- Coach managers on performance, team dynamics, communication, and HR-related decision-making with an inclusive, culturally aware approach.
- Provide comprehensive support across performance management, talent calibration, compensation cycles, and offboarding.
- Manage employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and policy guidance while ensuring compliance with UK employment laws.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and proactively adjust policies and practices.
- Lead cross-functional HR and organizational projects (e. g., total rewards, career ladders, performance model redesign, HRIS optimization, policy harmonization, global culture initiatives).
- Create and drive project plans, timelines, communications, and success metrics.
- Coordinate with global teams to ensure programs are culturally sensitive and scalable.
- Partner with leaders to strengthen team culture, ways of working, and cross-geography collaboration.
- Drive change initiatives through clear communication, stakeholder alignment, and high visibility.
- Use people analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks across regions.
- Prepare monthly dashboards and executive-level insights to support evidence-based decision-making.
- Streamline HR processes across the global footprint to improve consistency, compliance, and the overall employee experience.
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive HR generalist experience; prior experience supporting UK and/or global teams required or strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance obligations.
- Demonstrated project management experience leading multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Proven ability to influence and partner effectively with leaders at all levels.
- Exceptional communication, consulting, and relationship-building skills, including executive-level communication and storytelling.
- High integrity, discretion, and sound decision-making.
- Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity with confidence.
- Inclusive, collaborative, and people-centered leadership style.
- Global HR experience beyond the UK (e. g., U. S., EMEA, APAC) is a plus.
- Experience in Fintech, Private Equity, or fast-paced mid-market environments is beneficial.
- HR certifications (SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CIPD) preferred but not required.
