- Support preparation of half-year and full-year results, including presentations, scripts, Q&A and announcements
- Maintain analyst consensus and monitor market expectations
- Prepare investor, analyst and Board materials, including Breedon's investor website
- Track and analyse shareholder movements and investor feedback
- Support capital markets events and site visits
- Coordinate responses to routine investor and analyst enquiries
- Support identification, evaluation and execution of acquisition opportunities across Great Britain, Ireland and the United States
- Conduct market, competitor and target company research
- Build and maintain acquisition valuation models
- Assist with due diligence processes and adviser coordination
- Prepare Board papers
- Support integration planning and post-acquisition performance tracking
- Maintain the Group acquisition pipeline and reporting processes
- Support development of the Group's strategic plans
- Manage the Group's capital approval process
- Analyse market data across Great Britain, Ireland and the United States
- Monitor industry and competitor developments
- Work with divisions to prepare strategic analysis for Board strategy sessions
Requirements
- 5+ years' relevant experience, although investor relations experience is not a pre-requisite
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
- Comfortable interacting with senior management and the plc Board, with the confidence to constructively challenge and influence stakeholders
- Ability to conduct independent research
- Strong written communication and presentation skills
- High attention to detail
- Organisational skillsStrong commercial judgement
