Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and managers
- Develop your team ensuring high-quality service across the business
- Support and oversee organisational initiatives like restructures and integration activities
- Act as an escalation point for complex employee relations matters
- Partner with leaders on workforce requirements and development opportunities
- Represent the business in union consultations and forums
- Own the development, implementation and improvement of HR policies
- Champion a high-performance culture by supporting and developing managers
- Work with Talent Acquisition Manager to oversee recruitment activities
- Lead and support HR projects and people initiatives
- Support HR Senior Manager on strategic priorities
Requirements
- Proven experience in an HR Manager or senior HR generalist role
- Strong track record of leading HR activity and delivering practical, business-focused people solutions
- Sound knowledge of employment law, employee relations and HR best practice
- Experience supporting organisational change programmes including TUPE, restructures and business integration activities
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Commercially minded with ability to balance operational business priorities with people needs
- Previous experience in a similar role β ideally CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 qualified (or equivalent)
- Customer-focused attitude with professionalism, discretion and attention to detail
