Responsibilities
- Lead Subcontract Procurement activities on projects within the sector
- Collaborate seamlessly with stakeholders across multiple functions
- Support the completion of procurement strategy documents
- Manage updates throughout the project
- Ongoing reporting of procurement progress on projects
- Deliver predictable best-in-class outcomes
- Assist with ensuring a robust and structured supply chain exists
- Develop strong relationships with key internal stakeholders
- Support and mentor junior members of the Procurement and Supply Chain team
- Drive towards environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)
- Promote collaboration between the business and the supply chain
Qualifications
- Full member or working towards the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (min level 5)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Bachelorβs degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Desirable)
- Other accredited certifications in procurement or supply chain management (Desirable)
- Experience working in a similar role (Essential)
- Basic proficiency in procurement software and tools, understanding of supply chain management principles (Essential)
- Procurement skills relevant to the construction industry (Essential)
- Extensive knowledge of leading subcontract procurement activities
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities (Essential)
- Excellent analytical skills relating to numerical and clarifications assessments (Essential)
- Excellent Microsoft Office suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Teams) (Essential)
