Responsibilities
- Plan and lead the delivery of client campaigns
- Build relationships with key journalists and bloggers
- Support the team with marketing, new business, and product development
- Give counsel to clients at all levels
- Manage media enquiries from national media
- Draft reactive statements, internal communications, digital copy, social media responses and stakeholder communications
- Lead on day-to-day account co-ordination
- Assist senior colleagues in fulfilling their responsibilities
- Spot risks and opportunities for clients
Requirements
- Strong existing Account Manager or Senior Account Manager, looking to level up into an SAM or AD role respectively
- Experience with large consumer or corporate brands is desirable
- Ability to run day to day accounts; supporting client leads
- Be a media hound: tenacious and passionate about securing great coverage
- Experience in creating and launching thought leadership content on channels such as Linked In
- Highly organised
- Strong writer: skilled at writing press releases, comment pieces, media pitches
- Great interpersonal skills
- Great time management and ability to multi-task
- Stickler for detail
- Passion for news, culture and current affairs
- Experience of and passion for working with influencers and on activations across social media channels would be desirable
