- Apply risk-managed security solutions in UK Government and large corporate organisations
- Maintain practical understanding of UK Government industrial security requirements
- Apply HMG Security Policy Framework and JSP 440 Defence Manual of Security
- Implement UK Government industrial, contract, and defence supply chain security procedures
- Respond to emergencies, including loss or compromise reports
- Investigate security breaches and drive resolution and reporting
- Conduct periodic reviews and compliance audits of UK Government/MOD-accredited facilities
- Draft security risk reports and security management plans
- Manage tactical security requirements for assigned facilities with Facilities and contracted services teams
- Identify, analyse, and disseminate threat-based information
- Prepare employees for high-threat deployments and provide travel security support
- Task and supervise security suppliers, including executive protection, security systems, threat information, technical countermeasure sweeps, and forensic support
- Provide ad hoc security advice to the wider Boeing UK business and subsidiaries
- Develop business-focused security policies, procedures, and processes
- Conduct risk, physical, and information security assessments, including for new sites
- Support infrastructure tasks, security-system requirements, statements of work, and performance audits
- Contribute to business and emergency preparedness plans and country crisis coordination
- Develop and deliver security learning materials
- Support activities involving significant BDUK presence, including air shows, conferences, and exhibitions
- Represent Boeing at government and industry forums and security working groups
- Maintain currency with Boeing and host-nation safety/security policies and procedures
- Support security aspects of trade and export controls
- Liaise with national law enforcement and security agencies
- Report directly to the BDUK Security Operations Manager and interact with Global Security colleagues
- Provide international surge support in crisis scenarios
- Work with information security counterparts to deliver an integrated security effect
Requirements
- Recent practical experience in a high tempo working environment
- Current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom
- Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC); UK residency is required
- Ability to obtain United Kingdom Security Check
- Highly developed oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity applications, including MS Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to brief and convince at senior management/executive level
- Recent working knowledge of airfield environments and relevant regulatory/legislative drivers
- Practical interview, statement-taking, and report-writing skills
- Experience of security audit/compliance in accordance with ISO or other recognisable standards
- Multi-disciplinary security, law enforcement, intelligence, or corporate security background, likely at senior supervisory or management level
- Ability to operate at high tempo with minimum supervision across diverse areas of professional security competence
- Degree/postgraduate qualification is preferable but not essential
- Recent UK Defence Security experience, particularly cyber/information security, and/or related qualifications, viewed favourably
- Must satisfy the Companyβs Conflict of Interest assessment process
