Responsibilities
- Own and resolve Work Package Items end-to-end, from investigation through to corrective action implementation.
- Conduct system solution reviews, including system decomposition and requirements management.
- Maintain full requirements traceability across system, sub-system, and software levels.
- Support system-level design activities for vehicle control subsystems and associated implementation hardware.
- Apply safety-aware systems engineering principles in line with regulated engineering environments.
- Provide system-level hardware and interface understanding to ensure coherent designs.
- Operate professionally on client site, representing Expleo credibly and independently.
- Support the Programme Engineering Team Lead (ETL) in delivering consultancy-led engineering services.
Qualifications
- Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline, such as: Systems Engineering Electronic Engineering Physics Mathematics
- Demonstrable systems engineering experience on complex and/or safety-related systems.
- Strong experience working at the systems/software boundary.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision within a client organization.
- Experience in marine, defence, aerospace, or similarly regulated industries.
- Proven experience in: Requirements management System design (desirable) Modelling and simulation (desirable) Proficiency with tools such as: DOORS Siemens Polarion Enterprise Architect or equivalent MBSE tools (desirable) MATLAB and/or Simulink (desirable) Strong stakeholder engagement capability, including customer and supplier interaction.
