  • Own resource assignments across enterprise and growth client engagements from demand through confirmed placement and mobilisation
  • Match people to work based on skills, experience, career goals, preferences, client needs, location, industry, and preferred working arrangement
  • Balance billable utilisation with colleagues’ development and wellbeing
  • Maintain a forward-looking view of availability using confirmed end dates and pipeline signals
  • Flag capacity constraints and skills gaps to leadership
  • Support the Bench Management Policy and Utilisation & Time Recording Policy
  • Suggest bench assignments and keep colleagues on creditable internal work orders or Small Projects
  • Maintain clean, current resourcing data across Timely and the HRIS
  • Support automation of the monthly bench report
  • Monitor non-billable bench time and provide early warnings
  • Contribute to weekly Engine Room checkpoints
  • Build, curate, and grow a trusted associate pool
  • Source associates proactively based on recurring demand and pipeline
  • Own associate onboarding, quality assurance, engagement, and offboarding
  • Maintain associate records, availability, rates, and compliance status
  • Coordinate associate contracts, rates, compliance, and IR35 status with Commercial and People Operations
  • Prioritise AI and automation across resourcing, matching, and reporting
  • Identify manual tasks and design tool-supported processes
  • Help specify and adopt resourcing tooling
  • Champion accurate underlying data
  • Provide the Chief Consulting Officer with management information on availability, assignments, bench position, and associate coverage
  • Act as the main resource contact for Engagement and Delivery Managers
  • Coordinate with the CRO function to align resourcing forecasts with the sales pipeline

Requirements

  • Proven experience in resource management, staffing, workforce planning, or delivery operations, ideally within a consultancy, professional services, or technology environment
  • Track record of matching people to work against multiple, sometimes competing, criteria
  • Experience building or managing an associate, contractor, or freelance network is a strong advantage
  • Comfortable balancing billable utilisation with investment in people
  • AI-first approach and ability to use automation to remove manual work
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to data accuracy
  • Clear, direct communication and ability to set honest expectations about capacity and priorities
  • Confidence working with data and management information
  • Experience with time-recording and HR tools
  • Ability to collaborate across delivery, commercial, and People functions
  • Familiarity with cloud consultancy delivery and roles is desirable
  • Awareness of public-sector delivery and security-clearance requirements is desirable
  • Exposure to IR35 and contractor compliance considerations is desirable
  • Experience introducing or improving resourcing tooling and automation is desirable
  • Must be eligible to pass SC clearance checks
  • Right to work in the UK required
