  • Support the Head of Project & Portfolio Management and the Head of Clinical Operations in tracking overall team functional goals
  • Provide administrative support to both teams
  • Provide secretariat support for internal and external meetings
  • Maintain records
  • Document meeting minutes and associated actions
  • Undertake finance administration for the Centre for Drug Development
  • Work alongside the wider CDD team to create an efficient, comprehensive and proactive administrative support function
  • Participate in a competency-based interview via Teams and complete an MS Office-related task

Requirements

  • Excellent planning and organisational ability, prioritising conflicting demands and working to deadlines
  • Excellent diary management skills
  • Minute taking skills/knowledge
  • Knowledge of finance administration, including raising POs and invoicing
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams
  • Experience of working within an administrative capacity for a team
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships
  • Proactivity and self-motivation
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK; Cancer Research UK cannot offer visa sponsorship
  • Must be aged 18 or over
