- Supervise and support him with breakfast
- Ensure he is safely on his school transport at the family home
- Receive the child from school transport at the family home
- Play games and do age-appropriate activities
- Prepare after-school snacks
- Possibly perform light housework
- Provide clear instructions and discuss changes and what is happening next
- Support the child in developing a calm and positive routine
Requirements
- SEN and Autism experience
- Experience caring for SEN children and Autism
- Warm, caring and confident when supporting young children
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to establish a calm and positive routine
- Happy to support play and activities based on the child's interests
- Up-to-date CV outlining relevant childcare experience
- Must be available every Monday and Friday during the specified split-shift hours
