- Provide assistance on claimant personal injury work, focusing on serious injury and major trauma
- Assist with running caseloads from start to finish
- Liaise with clients
- Instruct experts, including medical experts and barristers
- Negotiate with the other side
- Prepare cases for trial as appropriate
- Work as part of the Serious Injury team within the Consumer Business and Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group
- Participate in business development and attend client events
Requirements
- Ideally 2-3 years’ experience in dealing with claimant personal injury
- Experience in serious injury and major trauma work preferable
- Passion for assisting people impacted by serious injury and trauma
- Desire and enthusiasm to be involved in business development and attend client events
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate empathy when required
- High degree of initiative
- Ability to cope in a fast-moving environment
- Excellent organisational and prioritising skills
- Confirmation of employment subject to a variety of checks after offer acceptance
