  • Deliver Engineering knowledge, skills and behaviours training for Level 2 and 3 apprenticeships
  • Create and develop lesson plans, schemes of work, teaching materials and resources
  • Coach and mentor students to support engagement and course completion
  • Create an inclusive environment supporting equality, diversity, inclusion and learners with additional needs
  • Conduct initial assessments, including recognition of prior learning (RPL)
  • Monitor apprentice progression and achievements through reviews, assessments and feedback
  • Promote safeguarding and learner wellbeing
  • Support apprentices with functional skills development
  • Participate in the Internal Quality Audit process
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety requirements
  • Maintain current knowledge of awarding body and Ofsted requirements
  • Support external auditing and quality assurance processes
  • Participate in careers, STEM and corporate social responsibility events
  • Occasionally travel to the Oakham and Blackburn Apprentice Academies and other Amcor sites

Requirements

  • A relevant engineering qualification or willingness to work towards Level 2 and 3 qualifications
  • Previous experience in delivering training is desirable
  • Ability to deliver positive outcomes, work to deadlines and meet required timelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiasm to develop apprentices and be a good role model
  • Good IT literacy skills
  • Willingness to travel to other sites and work flexibly
  • Full driving licence essential
  • Willingness to undertake continuous professional development (CPD)
  • Must undertake a DBS check
  • Must be able to supply two work-related references
