- Deliver Engineering knowledge, skills and behaviours training for Level 2 and 3 apprenticeships
- Create and develop lesson plans, schemes of work, teaching materials and resources
- Coach and mentor students to support engagement and course completion
- Create an inclusive environment supporting equality, diversity, inclusion and learners with additional needs
- Conduct initial assessments, including recognition of prior learning (RPL)
- Monitor apprentice progression and achievements through reviews, assessments and feedback
- Promote safeguarding and learner wellbeing
- Support apprentices with functional skills development
- Participate in the Internal Quality Audit process
- Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety requirements
- Maintain current knowledge of awarding body and Ofsted requirements
- Support external auditing and quality assurance processes
- Participate in careers, STEM and corporate social responsibility events
- Occasionally travel to the Oakham and Blackburn Apprentice Academies and other Amcor sites
Requirements
- A relevant engineering qualification or willingness to work towards Level 2 and 3 qualifications
- Previous experience in delivering training is desirable
- Ability to deliver positive outcomes, work to deadlines and meet required timelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiasm to develop apprentices and be a good role model
- Good IT literacy skills
- Willingness to travel to other sites and work flexibly
- Full driving licence essential
- Willingness to undertake continuous professional development (CPD)
- Must undertake a DBS check
- Must be able to supply two work-related references
