- Support clients across a varied public law litigation caseload
- Assist on Judicial Review proceedings
- Support public law disputes affecting public sector and health organisations
- Assist with procurement and procurement-related litigation
- Work on regulatory and governance disputes
- Provide advice connected to public law litigation matters
- Support senior lawyers and partners
- Draft pleadings, witness statements, instructions to counsel and client advice
- Undertake legal research and provide practical, commercially focused advice
- Develop client relationships and act as a trusted day-to-day point of contact
- Support business development, marketing initiatives and client training activities
- Contribute to the growth and profile of the Public Law Litigation practice
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor
- Newly Qualified to approximately 3 years PQE
- Experience in litigation through training contracts, qualifying work experience or post-qualification practice
- Interest in public law, public sector, healthcare or regulatory work
- Enthusiastic, ambitious and keen to contribute to a growing team
- Previous exposure to Judicial Review, public law litigation, procurement litigation, professional regulatory matters, healthcare, local government, education sector work, or advising public sector organisations is advantageous but not essential
