Duties
- Provide essential eye care to patients unable to visit stores in their own homes
- Drive home-visit optical services across North Wales
- Dispense lenses at all levels
- Work in varied locations and testing environments
- Provide care to vulnerable patients in their homes
- Cover locations anywhere within the North Wales territory when required
- Work with the dedicated home-visits team
Requirements
- Current or recent optical experience of at least 6 months–1 year
- Ability to confidently dispense lenses at all levels
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous fast-paced customer-facing retail experience (desirable)
- Experience in optics (desirable)
- Basic knowledge/experience of optical (desirable)
- Confidence using new systems, tablets and/or laptops (desirable)
