Mobile Cook / Catering Assistant

• Set up the dining area, including moving and arranging furniture
• Assist with preparation and cooking of food
• Serve meals and drinks to pupils
• Clear the dining area and put furniture away after service
• Clean equipment, kitchen areas and dining areas
• Help the team serve meals safely and efficiently
• Support the delivery of nutritious meals to children across Lancashire schools

Requirements

• Reliable, dependable and ready to contribute
• Works well as part of a team
• Can remain calm and work efficiently during busy periods
• Can use own initiative when needed
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Previous catering and food-preparation experience is essential
• Valid UK Driving Licence
• Must be able to work 16.25 hours per week during term time
• Sponsorship is not available
• Successful applicant must apply for a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure
