Monzo is seeking an experienced backend engineer to help build ML/AI platforms, train/evaluate/deploy models, and serve AI features safely at scale. You will contribute to backend services, Python libraries, model lifecycle tooling, evaluation workflows and low-latency serving systems. You will collaborate with ML engineers, scientists and product teams to ensure ML powers critical decisions—fraud checks, credit decisions and customer operations—while keeping production systems reliable.
