- Support teachers in delivering Business, Economics and Accounting qualifications
- Answer centre and customer queries and provide subject-related guidance
- Produce subject updates and deliver Curriculum Connect sessions
- Analyse data to identify centres needing support and monitor customer impact
- Represent AQA at conferences, stakeholder events and other external audiences
- Engage with teachers, stakeholders, subject associations and learned societies
- Gather customer feedback and subject insight to inform assessment, curriculum and product development
- Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Customer Training and Events teams
- Contribute to subject-focused planning, monitoring and delivery priorities
- Use systems, reports and dashboards to record delivery and meet targets
- Lead and support projects or workstreams
- Identify and manage risks and dependencies
- Promote customer centricity and act as an AQA brand advocate
- Engage and manage associates supporting customer delivery
- Travel extensively nationally, including overnight stays
Requirements
- Clear and confident understanding of GCSE and A level Business and/or GCSE and A level Economics, their specifications and current pedagogy
- Understanding of A level Accounting (desirable, not essential)
- Understanding of GCSE and/or A-level assessment and the wider education landscape
- Current or former teaching experience and credibility with teachers
- Experience extending influence beyond the classroom, such as through subject networks, CPD delivery, EdTech projects or other outward-facing responsibilities
- Ability to use data effectively to inform delivery and understand customer impact
- Clear and empathetic communication skills, including presenting to teachers and stakeholders
- Ability to explain AQA's offer clearly and accessibly
- Flexibility to travel extensively, including regular overnight stays
- Enhanced DBS required for the successful candidate
- Ability to demonstrate leadership, stakeholder engagement, collaborative working, influencing, brand advocacy, organisation, planning, prioritisation and continuous improvement
- Understanding of AQA's assessment products, processes and practices relevant to the subject(s)
- Successful candidates cannot maintain an Associate role with AQA or another exam board, if applicable
