  • Drive the strategic direction and execution of SBC’s media initiatives as a key member of the Media Ex Co
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director and Commercial Director to develop, implement, and oversee media projects
  • Partner with the Product division to enhance and expand SBC Media’s digital offerings
  • Line-manage and lead the Senior Media Manager and Media Researcher
  • Report weekly to the Managing Director using Asana for project planning and tracking
  • Work cross-functionally on projects spanning multiple departments
  • Conduct feasibility assessments, including cost-benefit and competitive analysis, resource planning, and KPI recommendations
  • Maintain up-to-date Hub Spot CRM records and support communication across teams, including sales
  • Collaborate with SBC Events teams to align operator and affiliate insights with event strategies
  • Mentor and guide junior colleagues
  • Oversee media client relationships from signed insertion order through campaign execution and performance reporting
  • Ensure client deliverables are timely, high quality, and aligned with objectives
  • Shape campaign strategy based on client goals, including content focus and format
  • Identify upsell and renewal opportunities with the sales team to drive retention
  • Define campaign and overall media performance metrics with the Business Insights & Media Operations Manager
  • Maintain and optimise deliverable-tracking and ad-inventory systems, coordinating with finance on data alignment
  • Lead and develop the Media Delivery team, setting KPIs and fostering a high-performance culture
  • Oversee production and distribution of SBC Leaders, Affiliate Leaders, and Canadian Gaming Business magazines
  • Implement revenue-generating processes with the Commercial Director
  • Use client data to identify monetisation opportunities
  • Develop expertise in SBC Media’s brands and products and support sales with product positioning and client queries
  • Engage regularly with the sales team to reinforce SBC Media’s value proposition and sales strategies
  • Identify, develop, and launch new revenue-generating products, services, and commercial propositions
  • Monitor competitors, industry trends, and emerging technologies
  • Develop the SBC Insights product set as a key media-business revenue driver
  • Manage bespoke client projects and ensure reports are commercially relevant, data-driven, and on deadline
  • Create and maintain a calendar for SBC Insights branded reports
  • Own SBC Insights report delivery and support the Media Researcher
  • Manage SBC Insights webinars and digital conferences

Requirements

  • Full-time role
  • Experience developing, implementing, and overseeing media projects
  • Experience managing media client relationships from contract signing through campaign execution and performance reporting
  • Experience with digital media offerings, campaign strategy, client deliverables, performance metrics, and ad inventory management
  • Experience with cost-benefit analysis, competitive analysis, resource planning, and KPI recommendations
  • Experience using Asana for project planning and tracking
  • Experience maintaining company CRM records in Hub Spot
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, finance, business analysis, product, events, editorial, and design teams
  • Experience leading and developing media delivery teams and setting KPIs
  • Experience with revenue streams, monetisation opportunities, product positioning, and commercial propositions
  • Experience monitoring competitor activity, industry trends, and emerging technologies
  • Experience delivering data-driven, commercially relevant reports, webinars, and digital conferences
