Responsibilities

  • Help shape the cloud foundations that enable the organization to operate securely, scale efficiently and innovate responsibly.
  • Design, build and optimize GCP infrastructure using a wide range of cloud services.
  • Deliver Infrastructure‑as‑Code through Terraform and modular design patterns.
  • Develop automation using tools such as Python, Bash or Groovy.
  • Evolve the CI/CD ecosystem across technologies such as Jenkins, Harness and GitHub.
  • Work with Kubernetes (GKE) and modern deployment approaches to support scalable, resilient platforms.
  • Work closely with Infrastructure, Systems, Architecture and Software Engineering teams to deliver secure, automated and high‑quality cloud solutions.
  • Contribute to engineering quality through code reviews, design input and full lifecycle ownership.
  • Help guide and support more junior team members.
  • Participate in an on‑call support rota and occasional out‑of‑hours work.

Requirements

  • Strong hands‑on experience with GCP services across a broad range.
  • Advanced experience with Terraform and IaC.
  • Proficiency in automation scripting (Python, Bash, Groovy).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Harness and GitHub.
  • Experience managing environments using GKE or similar Kubernetes deployments.
  • Ability to work across engineering domains with excellent communication and collaboration.
  • Google Cloud Professional certifications would be great.
  • Experience writing security guardrails (Sentinel or similar).
  • Experience with monitoring platforms such as Dynatrace or Cloud Monitoring.
  • Strong creativity, adaptability and a continuous‑learning mindset.
