Responsibilities
- Help shape the cloud foundations that enable the organization to operate securely, scale efficiently and innovate responsibly.
- Design, build and optimize GCP infrastructure using a wide range of cloud services.
- Deliver Infrastructure‑as‑Code through Terraform and modular design patterns.
- Develop automation using tools such as Python, Bash or Groovy.
- Evolve the CI/CD ecosystem across technologies such as Jenkins, Harness and GitHub.
- Work with Kubernetes (GKE) and modern deployment approaches to support scalable, resilient platforms.
- Work closely with Infrastructure, Systems, Architecture and Software Engineering teams to deliver secure, automated and high‑quality cloud solutions.
- Contribute to engineering quality through code reviews, design input and full lifecycle ownership.
- Help guide and support more junior team members.
- Participate in an on‑call support rota and occasional out‑of‑hours work.
Requirements
- Strong hands‑on experience with GCP services across a broad range.
- Advanced experience with Terraform and IaC.
- Proficiency in automation scripting (Python, Bash, Groovy).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Harness and GitHub.
- Experience managing environments using GKE or similar Kubernetes deployments.
- Ability to work across engineering domains with excellent communication and collaboration.
- Google Cloud Professional certifications would be great.
- Experience writing security guardrails (Sentinel or similar).
- Experience with monitoring platforms such as Dynatrace or Cloud Monitoring.
- Strong creativity, adaptability and a continuous‑learning mindset.
